Annalyce Bass, She was very professional.... she listened to me and seemed genuinely seemed to care about my issues. She projects that she cares about her patients and I felt like I was an individual not just another number. She is a credit to the entire practice. Its not often that you find a provider like her!

I was a patient of AIM 6 years ago and had a really bad experience. I swore I’d never go back, but due to our insurance I wasn’t left with much choice and when I found out the doctor I had a problem with 6 years ago and the office manager who didn’t help me with this horrible experience were no longer there I had to try one more time.
My husband and I got Covid in June and my first experience was with Annalyce Bass and her nurse Rikki took care of us. Knowing doctors offices get busy, Annalyce didn't rush you out the door and if you got off track she’d bring you back to the issue at hand so she could have the time to better serve the reason you came in for. I was nervous going in based on my bad experience from the past, but the care and great bed side manner we received gave me hope. When you don’t feel well it’s so important to be able to trust the person with your care. Annalyce did that and more. She made sure we understood her instructions before we left and made sure all of our questions were answered. It’s obvious that she sincerely cares for her patients. She’s easy to approach, easy to talk to and most important she is professional and you feel that you can trust her with your care. Rikki her nurse instantly makes you feel at ease and her attitude is wonderful and how she cares about each patient that comes in is exceptional. You can tell she loves what she does. Annalyce and Rikki are a good team because they both provide professional care and most important they are there for the care of their patients. You’re not just another number to them and you leave feeling your voice mattered.
A few months after Covid I had to go in for something I thought was Covid related and Annalyce wasn’t available so I was scheduled with NP Harpe. To her it was like I wasn’t even in the room. I was ignored, she never once looked me in the eye, she stayed on the computer with her back to me the whole time and ended up taking the easy route and pumped me up with a bunch of medications without an explanation as to what they were for. The meds didn’t even take care of my problem. I understand everyone has a bad day, but this was definitely patient neglect in so many ways. Her nurse acted like she didn’t even want to be there. Other things happened but I will address them in a private manner. Was supposed to go back to her in 10 days THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!!
Ten days later I made sure Annalyce was available. It was like night and day based on the two experiences I had. Annalyce’s professionalism is outstanding. She listened to what I had to say, she looked at me while discussing my concerns the whole time. I felt like she cared why I was there and not rush me out feeling I didn’t matter. I shared how I felt about how I was feeling and needed her to understand I would do whatever it took to work with her as long as I understood why meds were given or certain treatments. She successfully addressed all of my issues at hand and I left feeling confident and comfortable and I trust her with my care. That’s so important for a patient to feel that way. AIM has a gem in Annalyce Bass and her nurse Rikki. We patients need people like them to be in the medical field. I hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears

I am a new patient of Dr Annalyce. She didn't start off as being my Dr but due to a schedule change I ended up seeing her and boy am I glad I did, she is the "Best". You know how you meet someone and know instantly that you are gonna be good friends, that's how I feel towards Dr Annalyce. The whole staff is amazing from walking in the door being greated by Georgia at the reception desk to being checked out at the end of your visit by Ann, and all of the rest of the staff in between. April the scheduler was the first person I incountered from the office. She made me feel very comfortable about choosing Alpha Internal Medicine, I needed to find a Primary Care provider and she was able to assist with a couple of answers from me. The first person you meet before Dr Annalyce is her assistant Ricky she is so warm and caring. She gets you ready to see the Dr. she just doesn't throw you in the room and leave she makes you feel comfortable and puts you at ease so you are ready to see the Dr. Now for Dr Annalyce, she is the sweetest, kindest professional you could ask for in a Dr. She greets you with a big warm smile and hello. She ask all the right questions Then she listens...Really Listens to all your questions and concerns. She really works with you and includes you in on your treatment plan which is important to me. I look forward to see Dr Annalyce as my Dr for years to come. The staff is top notch!!

Dr. Pissarelo and her staff are AMAZING! Simply cannot conceive how they all do what they do every day with the professionalism and fantastic attitude. There certainly times I wouldn’t want ME as a patient, but they continue to be compassionate as well as professional. Ms. Candace is especially kind and I can ALWAYS count on her to do what she says she will do. Hope “my” team is around for a long, long time. Thank you for all you do!

I am so thrilled with Dr. Pisarello and the entire staff. After having the same doctor 40+ years, it was very difficult to make changes when he retired. I have found a perfect match with this staff. Everyone has been so professional and kind.

Today, I had a 8:00am appt. for LABS ONLY. I received at least 3 texts starting from last week advising me of this appt. and to arrive at the office 15 mins early. I arrived at 7:45am only to find the office CLOSED! To add insult to injury, even when they opened at 8am, the lab person hadn't arrived and some of the staff were also late. Long story short, the Quest lab person had a serious attitude when she did arrive and not only did she not know what labs I needed but she smart mouth me after I advised her that I was not the enemy but the patient, she then refused to draw my labs. However, I was glad about this because I really didn't want her nasty attitude self to stick me. At 8:50am I finally had my blood drawn by the "head NA" and walked out of the office at 9:05am - over One Hour later. At 9:42am, long after my appt. I was still receiving a text reminding me of my appt. which was one hour plus earlier.
Since I am a retired healthcare professional, I'm well aware of most policies, procedures and processes required for any kind of interventions so I always plan ahead. In spite of my numerous contacts with staff and coordinating my healthcare in preparation for my annual visits to ALL providers involved, there still were confusion on behalf of the staff. My providers nurse was not present at the time of my lab visit and apparently, the back up wasn't privy to all the information. Thankfully, she was able to find the information I had previously told her about that morning and apparently Dr. Watts ordered the labs in the system. However, I felt this should have already been done as I had provided ALL the information at least TEN days in advance of my appt. In addition, staff should have known via their system, that I was there for LABS ONLY!
At 8:05am while waiting for someone from Quest, the patient after me stepped up to the window and apparently, she had an appt. for 8:15am however, the receptionist did not have that information in her system so another lengthy conversation was overheard regarding her appt.

Dr. Watts is the best doctor I have found in GA and believe me, I have done a lot of looking since moving here 7 years ago. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and health problems. She is very caring. Dr. Watts does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist if she thinks that is what I need. Other doctors I have seen in GA will do almost anything to keep you coming back to them. Her team of Tonia Clark and Taina Moore work together to provide me with the best and highest quality of health care. Dr. Watts and her team deserve the highest honors and recognition for their outstanding service at Alpha Internal Medicine.
