For NON urgent refill requests

A note to you:

Requests for refills of many long-term prescriptions can be made online or by phone. However, please remember that anyone on daily or long-term medication needs a physical at least once a year.  If you feel your chronic medication dosage needs to be adjusted, please make an appointment to discuss your concerns with one of our providers.

Due to DEA regulations, prescriptions for some medications will need to be picked up in person at our office.  Be prepared to show your photo ID when picking up these prescriptions.

Prescriptions should be ready either at the pharmacy or at our office within 24 hours.  Messages received late Friday and on weekends or holidays will be handled on Monday, or the next business day. 

We do not routinely call to notify you that your prescription is ready.  Please call your pharmacy to see if your medicine is ready.

If it has been over 24 hours and the prescription still is not ready, please have your pharmacy contact our office.

Phone refills:  To request a refill by phone, please call our office at 770-719-5490.  

Be prepared to leave your full legal name and date of birth, the name of the medication, the strength or concentration of the medication, the dosing instructions (i.e.: one capsule each morning), the pharmacy name and number, and a phone number where we may contact you if we need clarification.  You may also specify if you would prefer to pick up your written prescription within 24 hours at our front desk.

Fax refills: The best way to fax a request for a refill is to call the pharmacy that last filled the prescription, and have them fax our office a refill request.  Our refill fax line is 770-719-3113.

You can call your pharmacy 24 hours later to see if your medicine is ready to pick-up.
