Honor Flight Fayette Participation

As dawn broke on her 40th birthday, Dr. Horton prepared to board a “special” bus which would take her,

other community volunteers and many local veterans to the airport for a very long day trip to the World War II Memorial

in Washington, DC. It was an EVENT she will never forget!

To honor veterans from World War II by volunteering to be their doctor on this their special day

was perhaps the best gift she could give herself.

Here, we share some of the photos from that send-off with you in honor of the service

of so many military men and women throughout America’s history.
