Fashion For A Cause!
Nearly $7000 was raised and presented to Fayette Care Clinic!
Pink and pretty, Dr. Horton evoked thunderous applause at the 2008 Annual Fundraiser
Fashion For A Cause in support of Fayette Care Clinic.
Once more The Lizard Thicket Girls prove to be a crowd favorite at AIM's annual fundraiser!
Fashions were donated by Bella Bloom Boutique and Salon, Coldwater Creek, Jay Reynolds for Panoply and Lizard Thicket. Corporate Sponsors included: Alpha Internal Medicine; Cardiovascular Consultants of Georgia, Southern Orthopaedic Specialists, LLC; Stephen Auda, MD; Daniella Duran (Pfizer Pharmaceuticals); Kirby-Palmer-Farrell-Nix Law Group; Digestive Healthcare of Georgia; Piedmont Fayette Hospital; Shyam Khanwani, MD; Amedisys Home Health; Chick-fil-A. Honor Flight Fayette Participation
As dawn broke on her 40th birthday, Dr. Horton prepared to board a “special” bus which would take her,
other community volunteers and many local veterans to the airport for a very long day trip to the World War II Memorial
in Washington, DC. It was an EVENT she will never forget!
To honor veterans from World War II by volunteering to be their doctor on this their special day
was perhaps the best gift she could give herself.
